Drake Hotel collateral

After leaving my full-time position as Art Director, I was asked to continue on as a freelancer to create print collateral, signage, and overall branding to accompany The Drake Hotel's extensive renovation of adding 32 rooms to the existing 19. From colour palette to content, I revelled in all the details, pulling inspiration from the architectural and design features of the building, including windows, wallpaper, and light fixtures. The scope of the work grew to include a custom lobby rug, carpets, room blanket, terrazzo flooring and other exciting interior design details. The colourful and sumptuous 12 ft x16 ft rug, arguably the focal point of the lobby, remains my favourite project to date.
